The public portion of Tolland school district’s strategic planning process was officially kicked off last night. The purpose of this m
eeting was to hear from residents. The process is being facilitated by New England School Development Council (NESDEC). Tolland’s facilitators are Dr. Donald Kennedy and Margery Clark. Between now and January, NESDEC will collect additional information from residents. A great way to get involved is to complete the attached survey. There were just over 40 people in attendance at this meeting at the high school. Many of those who spoke identified themselves as parents and town leaders. The meeting agenda was as follows:
