11/26 Help Needed by over 70 elderly and disabled residents

According to town manager Steve Werbner, the town has identified approximately 70 homes where town residents are over 60 or disabled and need help clearing storm debris.  So far, over 150 volunteers have stepped forward, including Boy Scouts and National Honor Society Members.  More volunteers are still needed, especially seeking residents who have a pickup truck or small power equipment.

Will you help out?  Volunteers are meeting at the Tolland High School on November 26th between 8 am to 3 PM

Crews will be organized and sent to different areas throughout Tolland.   Able bodied individuals, young and old, are asked to participate.
